QUESTIONS:
1. Regarding all three products, do you think the colour scheme and layout is appropriate to my target audience (16-24 year olds, mixed gender and ethnicity, those who are interested in sport, music and follow the music industry intently)
2. Does my magazine appeal to you as an individual? (state your age and why), if not please state why.
3. Do you think all three products use, challenge or develop the conventions of R & B? If so then where?
4. What do you like about the products?
5. Any improvements?
1. I feel like the colour scheme is definitely appropriate to your target audience. They are vibrant and exciting colours which would attract your target audience.
ReplyDelete2. I am 16 years old. I feel like this magazine does appeal to me because appropriate artists are used. Also appropriate photography is used as it aims to my age group. The use of colours and people make the magazine appealing to me.
3. I think your products do challenge/develop the conventions of R&B. The ethnicity of the people fit the stereotype of the R&B genre. Also the contents used within the magazine definitely suit the R&B genre.
4. I like the way you used a consistent colour throughout each of the products. This makes it look professional and not childish. I also like the way you used appropriate content for your genre.
5. I think you could of arranged your date and price in a better way.
I feel that your double page spread is your best piece.
1) yes it is.
ReplyDelete2) yes it does because of the topic and the attractive colours.
3) it uses the genre because of the appearance of the artist and the graffiti image.
4) I like how the layout is neat.
5) I think it would look better without the yellow
1) yes the style would be appealing to the audience
ReplyDelete2) im 16 and yes because i think it reflects the genre of music which you are trying to portray (hip/hop)
3) yes it uses language which would be appealing to the audience
4) i like how you use the theme colour throughout the whole magazine
5) the font is very simple
1. Your colour scheme works out really well, as you have been consistent with the use of your colours, however, you should have either stuck with red, black and white or add the yellow to your DPS, as you have added it to your contents and front page.
ReplyDelete2. 17 and Yes it does appeal to me. Your pictures are musically based and the style of your contents page and DPS content seems very professional.
3. It does challenge the conventions of an RnB magazine. As you have mixed your choices of genres, we wouldn’t see much jewellery, as the soul genre brings down the hype of RnB. This also shows this, as you have got your model dressed in something simple.
4. I defiantly like the layout of your contents and DPS page. Colour scheme is clear and thorough in your magazine
5. I think for your front page, you should make some of your coverlines bold, as they may stand out more. Maybe add a drop shadow for your DPS title “I’m a female bo$$”
